Stainless vent window dent repair

I’m confident I can restore my vent windows otherwise, but is there a good way to remove and get to the back side of the dents in the stainless to make them smooth? I can polish once I get them straight, but I’m unsure how to get to the back side. I assume this piece isn’t reproduced, too, unless you get the whole window assembly, right?

Is it possible the surround is chrome, and if so, I can’t do a lot without re-chroming?

Re: Stainless vent window dent repair

I believe it is chrome. I have the same issue, may live with them
