RCI Fuel Cells and Pump Gas

So, I "upgraded" to an RCI fuel cell when I installed Holley Sniper EFI. Apparently, there is a known issue with RCI fuel cell gaskets disintegrating on pump gas, which I learned about the hard way. Re: RCI Fuel Cells and Pump Gas

Alcohol in the fuel does it. Modern rubbers are suppose to be tolerate of it. RCI must not be using a good rubber for their gasket. The cork will work. I use a fuel cell from on of RCI competitors with pump gas and it does not have an issue.
