linkage issue .... please help

I put a 2" body lift in my K5 Blazer and welded in the piece that comes with the kit to extend the linkage but now it won't go into park smoothly.... I have to really make sure I have it in park or else it will lunge into reverse if i rev the engine....... how do I adjust the linkage so it will go into all the gears solid?

its been so long since ive done it but i know theres like a half inch bolt somewhere on that rod, either at the trans side or up under the hood. basically you want to losen that bolt then make sure your shifter is directly in park then manually put the transmission in park and see if that works and adjust a hair up and down if needed

Thanks, I'll try it today. I need to fix it before it kills somebody.
