Re: Another nice trailer!

There is a bed and an old oil heater inside. It looks like it has been sealed up nice, the interior looks like someone spent the night in the 60's and never opened the door again

Re: Another nice trailer!

Cool, imagine that restored, and having that International pickup in the background pulling it.

Re: Another nice trailer!

The inside is pretty dirty but it was put together nice. You can see that the guy that put it together took some time to make the windows on the front and back straight and the drop pan around the hitch in front. You can see scratch marks at the screws and rivets where they were measured to be evenly spaced. Looks like it was on the highway and not a bush wagon for hunting and stuff.

Re: Another nice trailer!

Imagine splicing those roof skins and sectioning the doors vertically like that back in the day. I wish I could have read the logo on the driver door

Re: Another nice trailer!

A true work of art. Imagine it is all brazed. With the coming of modern welding equipment we have most anyone able to weld sheetmetal. Back then most body men shied way from any such work claiming it will just warp up. I know, I remember. Then there were the true craftsmen, such as the guy who took straightened the top on my '56 Bug that was victim to people climbing on it. I fully expected to see the aged cloth headliner gone, but when I picked it up, roof perfect and ready to paint, the fuzzy cloth was untouched. I asked how he did it and he said, "Drew it all out with a torch.

Man, let me t that thng. Makes a cool sign and all that, but this is a crime to use as a sign. Plenty of other cool ways to draw attention. That thing deserves to be used as what it was created for

That's a cool piece of art. It needs to be restored!

Re: Another nice trailer!

Yes it does, or at least kind of preserved. A little vandalism there but here it wouldn't have a window left in it on the side of the road like that. I would at least throw a couple wheels on it and block the hitch up.
