Re: Strange things you've seen?
A strange thing that's been going on the last few years and actually just happened a few weeks ago.Having smoke detectors going off about 3am.Did a google search and it actually happens to alot of people.Humidity increases and radio stations dropping their frequency at night is the blame for this but I don't know if it's been proven.

Wholly Toledo. I had to read that twice for it to sink in. Bad dog, bad. I'll bet the owner was a real peach.

I think I've seen her too, numerous times.

Re: Strange things you've seen?
I saw something strange today. I've put up with a super slow drain in the shop sink for years. (yeah I know) Today I had enough, as did the wife. Long story short I found my plugged pipe. Over 4 foot long root ball! The joint where the two pipes came together was not glued! Stupid previous owner. Anyway, will finish tomorrow and get the yard back to normal.

Re: Strange things you've seen?
That's a lot of roots. I'm amazed it drained at all.

Re: Strange things you've seen?
I don't think it was. The joint that was not glued I think was "leaching" the water out. My wife had noticed a greener patch of grass above the leak. We are just glad that was not a sewer pipe! Muddy hands are one thing... the other.
