Good luck selling it and dealing with the slew of idiots. I'm going through the same thing with my blue Escape. I'm about to scrap the car and be done with it

I sold it about a year after i brought it home. Made a bunch of money too! To a guy in Dayton, Ohio. It just popped up for sale on Facebook and i happened to see it the other day. Sheer coincidence.

Out of curiosity... wagons have gone nuts in the past few years... how is the new price compared to what you sold it for?

And man, it sucks we have very few epic posts like this anymore. This is so much more of an enjoyable format to read than, say, facebook, where every either just likes it, or makes a short goofy comment.

Also grateful for Josh for using our pic format that we have. So many other forums have lost epic threads (even some incredible builds) because of 3rd party hosting site crashes, accounts being closed, or trying to ransom money from people.

Also, I've driven the PCH from basically Mexico to Seattle each way and I recognize a lot of your pics from my trip! Back when you guys made this trip, I have never been west of east TX.

Re: Mike & Andy's insane road trip (56k should run in fear)

Well i paid $851 for it on Ebay. Even with the cost of a plane ticet and costs of the whole trip i only had a grand total of about $1500 in the car. Some of which I recouped selling the multitudes of rustfree trailing arms i brought back.
And after driving it less than a year i sold it for $3500 bucks.
The lady that has it now wants $4500
