99 suburban- Engine or tranny issue ?

So Ive noticed a few things this week.
On heavy acceleration I notice a little skip, jitter, kind of thing. Not big , very minor actually. Seemls like the tranny might have issue.

I have also noticed , when its cool, dewy or frosty in the morning it will run rough( miss) at idle for a few minutes after starting. It straightens out when things start to warm up.
Could these two things be related ? There are no codes being shown

Reminds me of a cracked distributor cap that gets condensation in it. But This doesn't really have a traditional dizzy. There is a thing where the distributor would be- but this truck is pretty new compared to what Ive been driving
Any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated as always.

Re: 99 suburban- Engine or tranny issue ?

Could be something as simple as needing new spark plugs or something more complicated such as tracking down a misfiring coil pack. When was your last new spark plug install and what plugs are you running ?
I always check the easy obvious stuff 1st.
