Maybe a dumb question but...............

My panel truck has a shaved firewall. I dont know if i can afford an after market heat and a/c setup. What could I use to have heater and defrost without having to open up the firewall again?
Anything from a small car or truck available that might work?

Re: Maybe a dumb question but...............

After looking at it this weekend, i am gonna un-shave the firewall. Since I am going through all the trouble of using all the old sheet metal i can including the old backup light buckets, i figure i might as well go for it.
I do have a really nice heater set up with a brand new squirrel cage that i 've had stored in the rafters for years, just has some orange over spray on it.
Yeah,i know alot of you might have read this and thought , "man this guy is goofy, doesnt he know anything about trucks?"

Yep, I'm just an old plumber /pool repair/tile/carpenter/grandpa with a little time left to work on the bucket list.
