posi "s" clip ???? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

i need help removing the "s" looking clip in my 10 bolt rear end, in order to remove my axles. i will be adding disc brakes in the rear. it seems the clip is hard to take out but i dont want to force it and brake it .

does any one know how to take them off easy? thanks for any info.

1968 swb fleetside 454/400
1971 swb fleetside 350/4sp
1963 chevy nova ss conv. 350/350

did you push the axles inward?
