8-Lug 2wd Spindle Lift '76 C20

Hi,

I'm torn between what forum to post this in(2wd question, but lifted)- but I'll try here.

I'm looking to see if anyone knows more about an 88-98 4" spindle lift being used on the 2wd 73-87 3/4tons.

As I understand it- the 88-98 balljoints fit in the 3/4 ton arms, and the lift spindle tie rod arm can be reamed out reverse of the 88-98 taper to accept the 73-87 tie rod from the top. As in the 88-98 comes in from the bottom and the 73-87 comes in from the top. Then use 88-98 brakes and hub/rotors.

Most swaps I find, people are using 1500 5 lug hub/rotors or 6 lug 2500 hub/rotors.

I also see where rough country only lists the lift spindles for 6-lug 2500, not 8 lug.

What I'm trying to determine is how do I lift the front of an 8-lug truck, and keep it 8-lug? Wheel adapters are not in the question.

I will eventually go SAS, so I'm hoping there is an easy solution for an easy stepping stone so that I can order my long term wheels and tires.

TIA
