odd 1955 2nd series interior color?

Not sure how many fellow 1955 2nd series owners would even see this message to reply much less how few there must be who are keeping one original but here goes....
I know a lot about 55-59 trucks - probably enough to almost call myself a "guru" in some cases, but I really have the least experience with 1955-56 trucks vs 57-59's so I am asking the group here to see what anyone knows about 1955 2nd series interiors as pertains to how the actually came in 55.

My truck is a SWB BBW Deluxe 3100 series w/ 235 and factory Hydramatic auto trans - so a fairly high optioned truck in some ways, plus added bonus that it has the coveted 700 Solid Black paint code. I have never acquired a 55 or 56 Data book, so speaking strictly from a very limited observation of the rare handful of still un-altered originals left in America due to all the hot-rodding and late model modifications going on with so many 55-56 trucks, I formed the opinion that all 55 2nd series trucks were off-white or "Sand Beige" inside, with a Black column, wheel and dash top. Apparently that is not correct. I have owned this 55 2nd series about three years in storage, and seriously never paid much attention to its interior until now because we only recently got it out of storage and made it run and drive again. So I got in it to install a new guage cluster and got to noticing that the interior paint is all original - I first believed someone has spray painted it, which was true in that at one time some idiot sprayed the top of the dash gold, but I removed the covers someone added to the door panels the other day, and was shocked to see a beautiful "chestnut brown" factory insert color w/ tan border, and it matched the dash where I removed some of the gold paint, and it matched the column. So I guess my truck was Solid Black with a very cool two-tone Chestnut Brown and off-white / Tan interior which would have worked beautifully with a Black exterior but doesn't sound like a combo that would have looked as nice with certain other exterior colors, so my question to the group is this: does anyone have a 55 2nd series pickup that came this way inside or were most Black and Tan or were there several interior options for paint? Does anyone even have an original that is un-tampered with inside? I'd love to find someone who's truck is still painted this way but I am wondering if mine is like this because it was Black, or what....anyone have any info to share?
