C-10s in The Valley this weekend.

In case anyone is interested
“C-10s in The Valley”is this coming weekend.
It’s in Maggie Valley NC, and is always a nice show, that hasn’t gone “Big Name Commercial”.
There’s a nice swap meet in conjunction with the the show too.
I can’t go this year, but will be back next year

I have been going for the last few years but won't make it this time. It is a nice show in the mountains.

Yep, it’s a friend off mine that promotes it.
I like it because it’s “Grass Roots” folks and their trucks, as opposed to the MEGA BUCK vehicles you see at the Big Name shows in and around Pigeon Forge.
Another aspect I like is the venue.
Maggie Valley NC is a quaint quiet place that hasn’t been overrun with commercialization, and there’s nowhere near the crowds of uncaring tourists.

Re: C-10s in The Valley this weekend.

I'd like to catch this show, but can't this year. I almost went to the old show there 15 or so years ago. I ended up giving my room to another member. Maggie Valley is a great place for a show and to spend a weekend. You also have Wheels Through Time Museum if you are into antique American motorcycles. Blue Ridge Pkwy just up the hill. I hope some get to go and report back.

I like the grass roots shows myself. We have a rod run on Labor Day weekend that is like that. It's mostly cars guys did themselves the best they can from that mountain region. It's been going on for 50 years and still has the grass roots vibe. You'll see cars guys built 40 years ago, the one street rod they could build in their lifetime. Also a beautiful setting. www.westernmarylandstreetrod.com

Yeah, my house is about 25 miles from Maggie Valley, also I’m about 20 miles from Pigeon Forge, so I’ve got my choice of which shows I want to go to.
This year I’m just too busy to make this weekend
