Thanks Adam! I like the pic of the land speeder! Maybe we can convince Hollywood to do another back to the future and use a lowered C10 instead of the DeLorean. That would be so sweet!

Thank you for the kind words! I am sure your truck will turn out as good or better than mine. This site helps so don't be afraid to ask if you get stuck or need a swift kick in the arse to get you going again.

Thanks Goldie! I will have my son shoot my caldasac initiation. Hopefully by the end of the summer it will be going on it's own.

Sorry Fella's,

I am working (6) 16hr days right now so I have enlisted some from a buddy to take care of some things I haven't been able to get to yet.

The truck is wired and ready to be fired, brakes are done, drive line complete minus some work I have to do on my control arms (switch sleeves out with correct length) and make some small spaces to allow the wheel cap to fit on the boss 338's.

I am fabricating new seat mounts to use the factory holes to mount a 92 bench seat with arm rest which will be out to be recovered shortly.

I am going to see if I can get some pictures tomorrow on my day off to help you guys fight off the withdraw issues...... An I already know

Thanks for reminding me that I actually have a truck because it has been two months since I have seen it.

Yes they are 18's. I am going to save up and get me a nice set of staggered wheels 18's in front and 20's in the rear when I can so I can eliminate the issue of the machined rotors and issues with the spacer.

what problems are you having? Im soo stuck in between doing all 18" or doing a 18/20 combo. Im leaning more towards the 18s all around and throwing a little bigger tire in the rear.

How's it going Jay! Did you get the front issue handled? I am waiting to get my truck back so I can take the bushings out and measure them to have Nate send me the correct ones. Any new updates on your truck?

Well the problems are the same as everyone has that is running the rev2 version of the boss 338. There is a huge thread on this somewhere on this site that shows all the problems with these wheels.
The front problems are very minor the insert that goes into my tubular control arms is a little small so there is some slop between the arms and the bushings.

The spacer is to pull the front wheel out enough to clear the dust cap and to be able to mount the wheel cap. I will try to take some pics sometime to show you.

I am running all 18's with a larger dia. rear tire and I really like the stance but I am only running a small c notch and the rear tire just barley tucks when aired out. I am thinking the 20" will look a bit better at ride height and when aired out. This is something that will be down the road and after the paint is done....... BABY STEPS RIGHT!

Re: My First

Yep, got a little bit longer bushing from Nate and it fixed the problem. I haven't made as much progress as I'd like here in the last month or two but at least the frame now has 4 wheels on it and I can roll it around to move it if need be. (Pictures are in my build thread) Ordered a gas tank from Boyd Welding which should be here Monday so getting that installed and running the fuel line is my next step.
