Girdle Differential Cover

Are these worth any thing or is it a waste of money. I have a burb with a lot of power and more to come. I dont really want to go to a 14 ff yet cause i can not find any around me for a fair price and i dont really get to wheel much if any, any more. I found this online and was going to install my truetrac i have sitting here pretty soon. I have seen them on "race" cars and many trucks on here. Just wondering if they are worth the money.

Has anyone used one? Are they worth the money or just a waste of time.

Re: Girdle differential cover

Why do you want a high strength cover? If it is just for rock protection, something like this might be better. http://diy4x.com/cart/index.php?rout...&product_id=68

Re: Girdle Differential Cover

Yes, the girdle covers do help with handling power. They're a good investment IMHO.

Re: Girdle Differential Cover

They are few and far between. I have a truetac i got from a friend for almost nothing and have tryed to sell and had no bites so i am just going to use what i have until i start wheeling it again. When i moved here i found out there were just about 0 places to wheel close and no one that wanted to drive with me to the far away places. So it is just street until i can talk someone into a wheeling trip. So i am just going to keep what i have for now.
