Phoenix The Rusty Crusty '72 GMC 4x4

So, while doing spitfire, my 69 k10, my buddy who was helping me fell in love with old trucks. he tried buying mine to which i denied him. So, on a parts run for mine we found the truck he loved. A 1972 GMC k10 4spd, V8 truck. the truck is so factory it hurts, minus a faded yellow paint job that covers the factory green paint. We bought it for more than we sould have paid we later found out, but none the less we are saving it, because we got it running!!!
Never messed with a four eye before but it should be fun!!! Also going to be showing him this site!

When we first saw it
More pics of her.

Re: Phoenix The Rusty Crusty '72 GMC 4x4

The interior had SO MUCH FOAM in it, all from the seat.

The engine and wiring is clean though, she cranks freely.

Re: Phoenix The Rusty Crusty '72 GMC 4x4

Getting ready to load her up on the trailer.

All loaded up about 20 minutes into the trip home when we decided to stop for some burgers, two cops pulled up and chatted about the truck, apparently they recognized it as a local truck, saying an old farmer wo passed away owned it. with the strange things we found in the bed and under the seat i can say that it was a farmer, like 15 pairs of boots in the bed.

That would be a spare tire rack . Hope you left the critters that were living in the seat where you got the truck.

That's a rare find for this part of the country! Very few true 67-72 K models around here.

Hey a local guy, we may need to steal you soon, when its time to remove the bed. You wouldnt happen to have any leads to a parts truck round there for cheap?
