Green Plaid Highlander Bucket Seats

Does anyone have and can post pictures of the front and back original, not recovered in original material, green plaid seats from a Blazer. Pics from both Chevy and GMC would be great.

Re: Green Plaid Highlander Bucket Seats

Thanks Pete but I'm trying to determine which way the plaid lines go. Thoraces an old thread on this subject but nothing concrete was established so I thought if someone posted pics of original plaid seats we could figure it out. There was a debate about whether GMC's had horizontal pattern and Chevys a vertical pattern.

Thats an interesting one as it has both the vertical and horizontal bars on the plaid.

Check. I think the plaid pickup thread garnered enough gmc plaid examples that the collective opinion is now that gmc and Chevy plaid are identical in terms of orientation. When I added plaid to my gmc I went with the same for Chevy. That shown on the gmc brochure is an anomaly. Gmc plaid trucks are few and far between though.

Green gmc plaid example:

Re: Green Plaid Highlander Bucket Seats

This seat was taken out of 1972 CHEVY olive green blazer. I bought it off the owner when he switched them out for some modern seats. Hope it helps.

Re: Green Plaid Highlander Bucket Seats

I know this is an old thread but its basicially to let folks know that when advice or ideas are given its appreciated and useful. I posted this last September because I wasn't sure which way the white stripes were on the buckets. It seemed the buckets were one way and the benches another. What i did discover is that i wanted them symmetrical, my wife says I'm a little OCD and maybe she is right. Anyway I got the material and tok the picture of the attached blue buckets and tiold the upholsterer that I wanted the stripes like this only symmetrical as as you can see the blue buckest are not exactly the same. Well here is what I got and the upholsterer took a little license with them and using the black lines so the stitches are really visible quilted them so they wouldn't move around. I like em and am anxious to get them installed and I'm working on the console so I can them in this season before I put the truck away for the Winter.

Re: Green Plaid Highlander Bucket Seats

If someone was to build a truck, Blazer or Jimmy around a pair of seats that's the ones I'd choose. Already Gone those seats are awesome! Can't wait for more pictures of them installed. Thanks for posting.
