inline 250 -- Vintage Sun SUPER Tach compatibility

Good Eve,

I need some advice. I picked up a cherry Vintage Sun Super Tach model SST-802 at the Bowling Green Hot Rod reunion.

After looking up the model number and reading the back (8 cyl)

Can this tach work on my 1966 inline 250? or do I need to sell this and go for a re-pop with a 4,6,8 cyl switch?

Thanks in advance!

Shad

A V8 only tach won't work on an L6. Sell it and buy a new AutoMeter w/ the 3-way switch.
I have an AutoSun which is an AutoMeter product. I put a wide-diameter hose clamp on my steering column and that holds the tach bracket.
