Transmission w/overdrive help

Hey gang
Anybody ever clean the governor? Looks like it’s dirty but don’t want to gum it up.

Not too many of those around so you might have trouble finding someone who has worked on them. I could move this to the "Engine & Drivetrain" forum to see if anyone there has any experience with them.....

Re: Transmission w/overdrive help

If you are working on a 3 speed stick with the overdrive unit google devestechnet and on the home page, page down to the drivetrain section and you will see everything you could ever want to find on that overdrive unit.

Good stuff!
