Question no power to coil, thus no spark... upstream ? '88 w/ 4.3L

1988 c1500 4.3L tbi with auto trans

So, When i put my truck in gear after running all day it sputtered and died, unable to restart. I figured i had vaporlocked the engine from idling awhile in the yard, but not the case. It turns out a fan I through on the floor hit the orange wire giving 12V to the coil... I thought I was in bizness, but still nothing (no Voltage at the coil).

Anyways, after minorly taking the dash/ blovebox apart, it would appear there was an alarm/remote start installed as theres more there than should be. What else should i be checking beisdes connections and fuses? any more relays in the dash or column? how hard would it be to 'uninstall' these non-needed items? worth the time/ effort or should i try to fix and leave it?

~Zach

Ive had the truck for a year, driven 15k miles, new altenator, battery, wires, plugs, rotor, cap, etc...
