69 GMC grill swap

just bought a 69 gmc swb and dont much care for the gmc double headlight grill. would love to have a 69 or 70 chevy grill or even a 72..are there any problems swaping between gmc and chevy? im unsure if there the same and interchangable? i enjoy the straight bar or checkered

I know the core support is different, but I do not know if you can use just one of the headlight buckets that are there or if you need to swap it out. I do know that 69/70 vs 71/72 grills use different latch supports and different hood latches. As long as you buy everything 69/70 or 71/72 you will be good. Also the headlight wiring harness is slightly different but you can modify what you have to make it work.

Really depends on how much work you want to put into it and how much money you want to spend.

Your front fenders are different from the 69-72 gmc to the 69-72 chevy also

I just bought a 70 C10 with a GMC grill on it that im going to change to a chevy grill. Did you ever do your swap. If so, what all did you have to do?
