well i'll go against the grain...
having worked my butt off all my life for not a lot, i'd be going shopping...
buy myself a 100 acres or so way, waaaaay up north, so i got no neighbors
then anything with a motor would be in my garage, musclecar, 4x4, boat, bike, atv, lawnmower, snowmobile, motorized bar stool.........
spend a few mil paying off the family, then buy myself an unlimited supply of sd cards for my cam and spend the rest of my days exploring the bush...good luck finding me...hearing from me...seeing me....

Old thread, but I'll play. I would set up an account so that my parents never had to worry about money again, they have had a rough life and provided for us kids better than most despite having less than many.

I'd set up trust funds / college funds for my kids, new house in a new zip code for us. Nothing exotic, just a little nicer than what we have now.

The rest I would deposit in the proper accounts and enjoy life from the interest and dividends.

Oh yeah, I'd toss my brother a $100 bill and tell him to enjoy a nice meal on me.

Don't know if I answered before, and too lazy to look. I'd put down money on as many houses around my city that were for sale, and rent them out. I'd hire a property manager to run it all. The rest of the money would go to who I thought should have it. I'd hire a secretary (my wife volunteered for this position) just to tell people who were calling for money, "NO!".
