I found a picture of a truck online and now I can't find it. Its a lifted green 70 (I think) with boggers and a flatbed. Does anybody know who's truck it is? I'd like to see more pictures of it. If I can find the one picture I'll post it. But it doesn't really show the flatbed which is what I'm interested in, Also, if anybody has any pictures of offroad or expedition type flatbeds, post them up. Thanks.

Yukon Jack has a nice 69 with a flat bed that has been yellow and silver.

The reason for the flat bed is if you go hard enough off road you will mess up the bed sides in time.

...and that sweet looking cab and fenders. It's true the shrunken flatbed is ideal for "gettin' ruff with it", but that truck appears to be more about the look than tearing it up. Not knocking it at all. I absolutely love that thing and want it. It's badass perfected! Also, not saying that thing wasn't out tearing it up the next day. Could be it was just completed and it's just that the owner has great taste and keen sense of detail. I'm also guilty of building for the look but not so eager when it comes to putting it to the test. I've done my fair share of hard wheeling for a long time and pretty much have that out of my blood (though never completely) anymore. Older and more practical these days, but still into the badass 4wd

I have my own reasons for wanting to do a flatbed. I plan on driving the piss out of my truck, and beds get trashed. And I can build a flatbed alot cheaper. And most importantly, my ex wife HATES flatbeds. :-)

I too have become a fan of the bobbed flatbed. I love the black flatbed with low rails complemented with the black front bumper. Does give it the heavy duty look I like.
