Cool new guy

Hi to everyone
i just discovered this board, my name is Dale but my so called freinds(lol) call me pugs. I live near Reading Pa and i am working on a 56 chevy up, 350/350 combo, 327 corvette intake and rebuiltand rejetted carb w/ some chrome cover and aluminum pulleys, it all sits on an 81 swb chassis custon box w/ glass fenders w/ tk ralleys. i have the truck about 3 years now and had a few other projects in between. maybe i will getit done this year if i dont have to sell it to pay the bills. but anyway hope i can help someone out or help me down the road, i posted a pic of the motor to give you all an idea of where i stand w/ the tk

thanx guys I have been working on the truck lately and hoping to be able to fire it up this weekend I got the steps in the wiriing harness from an 81 chevy truck the biggest problem im having now is figuring the wires to get the guages working but other then that its coming together fairly quick hope to be crusing w/in 2 months

Sounds like it will be a nice truck once it is done. Nice job on that motor, a black block and heads looks very sharp. A little chrome and aluminum never hurt anyone either. LOL.

Smile front clip fit

Hey Pug how did the 56 front clip line up on the new frame. Any problems with rad support or inner fenderwells? Thanks biddaboy

everything worked out real good and was fairly easy to set up i will get a pic for if needed i too two bumper brackets and cut the curved end off and welded them in place once i had the cab and everything in place and all level i did have to cut down the bottoms of the inners to clear the upper comtrols arms

I had to cut my inner fenders too, its not that big of a deal considering what you are gaining.

thats the style frame i should have used it easier to mount the cab on the frame i did try posting a few other pics but they are to big to post but i will try it again
