Hybrid 46

Will get pics but Minister Joe put a Prius hybrid in his 46 3/4 ton. 105 instant torque and 121 hp. Stock 216 is 174 torque at 1200 rpm and 90 hp at 3300 rpm I read. On the outside it looks normal unless you know what 5 lug Prius steel wheels look like. He front halved the 46 frame with the front half of the Prius. Removed the sheet metal on the Prius , radiator and support are all under the front dog house of the 46. I will get some pics it Aug 13 at the church car show.

Reading up on the Prius, it can exceed 200K miles on its batteries. Battery pack is under the seat, not sure yet where gas tank is. He has pleny of refining yet but he drove it to the Oreillys show.
