How much will my suspension drop?

'51 panel with OEM Mustang II, trying to set the ride height to minimize future disassembly and readjustments. Currently no engine or front sheet metal. Looks like it will take almost 3" of drop when SBC etc. is installed to get my lower control arms horizontal. That sounds like a lot - will it drop that much?

I can't say with specifics but it could easily drop that much, BUT, it depends upon the size and weight capacity of the coils you are using, the shocks will deal with some of that also and what all are you going to have on your SBC? Aluminum anything??

With the engine installed that's exactly how it came out. Better to be lucky than good!
