Would this work...

A 1970 GMC 1/2 ton long wheel base running gear, seen here http://neworleans.craigslist.org/pts/4033026685.html bolted under a 1969 Chevy panel,

seen here

Thoughts? Isn't it a straight bolt up conversion? Or not so easy...

Re: Would this work...

No idea, since I have never been able to compare the two chassis.

Though I do know that the burb and panel chassis in the rear section tapers down a bit, where as the PU is shorter and chopped off with no taper or mounting surface for the rear bumper.

Re: Would this work...

ya may know I sold off a bunch of my stuff to buy a small used grand banks trawler, I had thought we sold a property and just before closing the deal went south...no trawler. Back to ol' trucks for a bit
