Difference between 60-62 and 63-66 rear suspension

I like the QA1 setup for 63-66 trucks I saw at SEMA. Anyone know what I'd have to do to make it work in my '61?

The shape of the frame is the thing you will be fighting. Look in the FAQ section for the frame drawings and that will give you an idea on the differances.

Re: Difference between 60-62 and 63-66 rear suspension

It is a true '62 short bed. Porterbuilt was first to have something for this frame. They do have the notches for this frame. I was not planing on it being this low... the pipe notch I made is useless with my shocks, 2" too long
The big issue is the pumpkin hitting wood. In my case 2 pieces in center that are not attached for opening at shows

Pb arms but Air Ride before Ride Tech "cups" with top plate because 62 cover smaller than cup.

Thanks LV. I don't want to cut my floor up so mine won't be as low. Photo shows QA1 parts.
