Smitty-- One of my jobs is as a front desk clerk at a hotel. It's completely dead today, so I'm muti-tasking. Actually, I do this everyday I'm here. My other job is at a carbon fiber shop. The shop actually made alot of parts for some cars running in the Rolex 24 hours at Daytona, so I had to find out the results on that. The cars (# 10 and 01) were the number one and number two pole-sitters, but they got 5th and 6th. Cool stuff. John

Yeah, Tony and Jr really got screwed by fate on that one!
Althoug Tony appeared to take it well Does the carbon fiber outfit make flat panels like 1/32" to 1/16" thick? Like might be used for a slick looking dash panel? Hint, hint

Smitty-- Yeah they did. That was cool as hell to see though, with the tire/rim coming off. I saw that happen to about 3 different cars.
To quote my boss, "We can make anything." One of the guys working there used to assemble carbon fiber masts for racing boats. We do motorcycle parts, car parts, etc. Anything you can think of. We have a sight (not that great) but it's www.debotech.com I've been thinking about doing some stuff for my truck, but they have to teach me everything first. One guy has a '72 Maverick that he's built alot of carbon fiber stuff for (at his old job). He has carbon fiber fan shroud, innner door panels, gauge backing, overflow tank, and a misc. holder that goes from under the driver's side dash to the pass. side. I'm sure he has some other stuff on there too that I haven't seen. The car would be nice if he'd take care of it. John
