Odd side trim

Hi, my name's Jack.
This is my first time posting on the 60-66 forum. I spotted this truck a while back, I go out of my way to check it out, hoping to catch the owner outside
So I can get a better look. I've looked and looked at pic's and side molding threads and have yet to see anything similar to this trucks side trim. Is it a rare model? Custom? Thanks in advance for any info.

Re: Odd side trim

Yes the '60-'61 custom side trim is very rare. That truck looks like it may have the also rare trim piece below the rear window between the sail panels. That is definitely a desirable truck IMO even if it is a longbed.

Re: Odd side trim

That is the 60-61 Chevrolet stainless side trim. GMC had the same kind of trim but the bed strips went straight back instead of the fish hook.

Yes, Yucca Valley. I really dig the truck and look forward to meeting the owner and checking it out up close.

Re: Odd side trim

I have yet to see it on the road, hoping he might be sick of it and want it gone.
