Front Fender Emblem Location - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey guys have a question on front fender emblem placement. I was looking through my pile of junk fenders and noticed there was a difference in emblem location between my 1972 jimmy fender (Orange) and the 1972 gmc suburban fender (Green) I parted out awhile ago. Both are what I believe to be original. I wouldn’t think the factory would put these emblems in different locations??? Does any one have accurate emblem dimensions for a 1972 Jimmy/Blazer.
