Blazer tailgate-what years are the same?
My 1974 K5 Blazer needs a new tailgate. It has the manual roll up window.
Does anyone know what years will interchange with the 74? Are Suburban gates the same? Does it matter if the one I get is power or manual? I want to stick with my manual one and all the guts, glass, etc, are good. Thanks

Suburban tailgates are different but any year Blazer 'gate will bolt in.

Square body Blazer tailgates, so 1973-1991. All 2nd gens.

1978 was the first yr of the power window - also the K5 without the hardtop (73-81) shared the tailgate with the C/K truck (82 and newer still retained the mounting holes 4 both tailgates after the soft top was discontinued)
this also includes the rear glass |
