On my way to Reno Air Races I stopped by the body shop to check out my truck Friday 9/15 and the new bed side are installed and looking way better that the old ones. just have to weld in the gas tank door and prep for paint. Anthony said they will start paint in about 3 weeks.

Sorry to jump back, and hope you don't mind a quick off topic post - But I see you saw some of the Texas Flying Legends birds at Reno! A good buddy's father owns TFL and I've had the pleasure to spend some quality time with and in most of the fleet down at Ellington... Right side of the top right pic is their Goodyear Corsair, bottom right pic is Betty's Dream (configured as a "Box-Cutter") and to the left is the Avenger with the star on the folded wing. That Avenger is an exact replica of George HW Bush's Avenger he flew and was eventually shot down in.

I received an email from Boyd yesterday and my fuel tank is in production. having them build a custom tank end up with 26 gallon tank under the bed. I tried to up load PDF of my drawing but it did not work.
