White with green interior pic request

Bought a K20 and colors have been changed but this is the color scheme per the SPID. Anyone got pics to give me an idea what this would look like? I think its pretty rare to see this color scheme?

This is the best I could come up with. No white sheet metal. Steering wheel shows it to be 67-68 I think.

No pics, but what green? Olive, medium, or a dark....? What year, and does it just say green?

Re: White with green interior pic request

1971- SPID just says green, typically they say olive or medium green so I'm not sure what shade it would be.

Re: White with green interior pic request

I believe green interior options were only green (i.e. normally associated with a non-olive green truck, medium or dark) and olive (i.e. there was no dark or med olive interior option, only exterior options - if you got an olive interior, it was just plain olive). I have seen an olive interior in a medium green truck though... Anyway, am a little cornfused. How is it stated on the SPID and what is the interior trim code associated with it? Or are you stating the interior trim code wording is white with green?? (I assume not and that you're just talkin about the paint option). But the interior trim code should be listed separately. Could be Anything, but it is most likely gonna be "green" in which case it would likely have a "green" or "black" interior. But who knows. RPO will help.

Re: White with green interior pic request

There were a couple of green trim colors in 71-72.

A green vinyl (612) that closely matched the med. green 518 paint that was found in the base "Custom" trim levels. It is often seen paired with 518 med. green or white exterior paint.

Then there are the olive greens found in the "Custom Deluxe", "Cheyenne" and "Cheyenne Super" trim levels.

Here is a picture showing the 612 green vinyl trim in a dark olive 72.

A brochure clip showing a 612/518 (med. green) truck.

Finally a 629 olive cloth "Custom Deluxe" interior in a 506 dark olive 72.

Re: White with green interior pic request

Thanks guys, its a base model with a full foam seat per SPID. I will check the code in 2 weeks when I pick her up. Probably the 612 as Tim described. I don't think I've seen green in a non green truck before, really curious to see a pic if anyone has one.

Re: White with green interior pic request

The green with white was an often seen combination on base trucks. But since the greeen is not correct for the higher trim levels reproductions parts never seem to have caught on. Plus in reality there are few exterior colors that look good with the green trim. We have seen how well it went with dark olive paint, not.

Re: White with green interior pic request

Tim, do you have the interior pics handy of that one longhorn that was white with a blue interior? I think that was a base model so it will give me an idea of how it may look but with blue intead of green.

Re: White with green interior pic request

While not exact here is a 68 green custom interior in a white truck. The greens were not the same shades as the 71-72 trucks.
But this picture gives a good feel of the combo.

Re: White with green interior pic request

Thanks Tim, those are helpful!

BTW, does it get any classier than that 68? Wow.

I don't think the 71 green will be that nice but still look pretty nice against white.
