Color Sanding

Can I color sand a single stage paint, where no clear is over the paint?

Re: Color Sanding

Yes. I recently color sanded the original paint on my C10 as one of the steps to bring it back to life, and I know many others have done this as well. If your intent is to do the same, just be careful because the original paint is thin. I burned through it in a few spots but didn't care much because my truck has quite a bit of faded patina paint anyway.
