Biggest Blunder in your build

Had a little over sight on my build, PO installed my lift kit and I thought I knew what I had. thought I had a 6 inch lift with 35's.

So I went to ORD and ordered the shackle flip and a set of their custom springs for a 6 inch lift. well guess what I have a 4 inch lift,( should have measured twice and cut once) would not be a huge problem other than I plan on keeping the truck in my garage and with the four inch lift and 35's I barely fit. figure for the truck to look right I will need to go up in tire size meaning even more height, May have to get creative on this. I have to either re order springs for the rear, going to replace fronts any way. the ORD springs either 4 or 6 inch. just have to decide may be a decision of Garage kept or does she stay outside!

going to do some measuring, don't run the hard top just soft top so the main clearance issue is with the windshield,

so what issues have other people run into? I am sure there are some good stories out there!

Re: Biggest Blunder in your build

My mistake in my build was to install A/C. Waste of time with a soft top and I should have saved the $1500 and put it somewhere else.

I got ripped of for $3000 in an engine deposit from T&L engines. They were taking orders and deposits and would never deliver an engine. There was a lawsuit and people got back a small percentage of their deposits. I think i got back around $500.
