Is this the stock radio amplifier?

So driving home last night, I hit a bump and out popped this from under the dash. I'm assuming it's an amp due to the heatsink and can only assume it's from the old radio? There's a modern radio in the dash now. Just curious as I'd either like to find it a home or remove it if it's unnecessary. I also searched via the part number and came up empty.

The PO also had an alarm installed, found the main unit under the dash and also a horn under the hood. I'm a big fan of having only the necessary wiring, not loose ends like you can see in the upper right corner. I hate tape over ends like that! This truck runs the chassis as a main ground so I'd hate to accidentally short anything out.

Thanks in advance!
