Who sells dropped A-arms for our trucks?

I'm thinking of doing dropped a-arms instead of spindles so I don't chance screwing up my wheels or having to notch my a-arms.

DJM I've used a couple of sets from these folks - there are some others out there. I'll look around somemore.

I just like the feel and looks of these versus spindles, along with the fact that there are no install issues.

The over $400 price is control arms with "DJM cross shafts?" - WTF? I've never bought mine with a special "cross shaft - the price with out the cross shafts are only a few $ more than their spindles. I'm not even sure why they would try and include those unless they are just figuring that the factory ones are just wore out

They have a 2" drop arm that can be used with coil or air - $359.00

Doesn't really matter to me... I thought by your original post you were wanting to go with control arms. I'm glad you found some spindles that will work.

yeah, I think you told me that before, but are there any other reasons? I would like to do A-arms instead if I could find a good deal on them. NSANE68 has a place at www.phatcustoms.com . He e-mailed me and told me..

Hi chevylwb, My name is Casey my board name is NSANE68!!! I am opening my own business right now selling custom accessories. I hope to have it all up and runnin by June 1st. However if you are ready to purchase spindles now we could take payment by snail mail, I don't have my credit card processing up yet. I have the spindles you are looking for, they are lifetime warranty against defects. I used these same spindle on my 68 and they work great. The price is $190 a pair. If you are interested send me an e-mail or you can call 480-620-5450. I will carry lots of other products for this era truck, soo check us out at www.phatcustoms.com this site is under construction but will be up by June 1st or sooner. So book mark us and check back. Hope to do business with you soon. Casey

I guess they are $190 a pair.

I think its cool that we can keep as much business "in house" as possible - this way it seems to help everyone out

Smile

They are the 73-87, which requires new upper ball joint and tie rod. But your gonna replace them anyway. If done correctly. JMO
