I got a 400! Just a couple opinionated questions, though

Currently it has a stock aluminum spreadbore Quadrajunk intake on it, with a spot for an EGR. Should I just go with a TBI intake [which would be a Holley Performer with a spacer I already have], or an adapter possibly with a spacer I already have to mate the TBI to the current intake?

Also since I'm going from a 350, has anyone ever used a balancing plate to make a n internally balanced fly work on an externally balanced engine? I'm already getting a new harmonic balancer because it has none currently.

no you need a 400 externally balanced flywheel and harmonic balancer
the 454 tbi's had a Quadrajet intake with a adapter so you can git one to use a Quadrajet intake on it
or modify your tbi intake to use it

I've read about those adapters and haven't found any bad comments about em, but it never hurts to get more opinions!
