Member Raguemoe's '67. It's the only one I can think of off-hand. 22s out back, but you get the idea. Looks about perfect to me

What size wheels do you have on the truck in the first picture? They look perfect with that 5/7 drop

The red wheels are 15X7 with a 215 75 r15 in the front and a 235 75 r15 rear. The others are KMC SS 20X9 245 40 20 front and 275 45 20 rear

Re: 5/7 drop pix

Great pics of the 5/7 set up! Best static height, IMO.

How are all you guys achieving the 7" in the rear?

Is notching required for this drop?

Yes a notch is required.
6" drop spring with a 1" block would be the easiest.

Yeah, I just noticed looking through other threads that lot of guys go that route, either with a 5" spring and 2" blocks or the 6"/1" you mentioned.

I'm guessing the front at 5" down doesn't have any issues as far as upward travel/compression?

Re: 5/7 drop pix

I did one on a '69 stepper with a porterbuilt setup on the rear using 4" springs and their 3" trailing arms

Here is mine [under construction], it has 4inch lowering springs with Porterbuilt 3inch lowering trailing arms to reach 7 in the rear.
