gutting floor

Is this the only piece holding the blazer together,on the back by the tailgate.I need to redo the floor one day and was gathering info

If you are talking about the piece the tailgate hinges bolt to, the answer is yes. I removed the floor and that piece out of a 73 Blazer many years ago. I think it bolts in, but it may also have a couple of spot welds. If you are going to remove it, I would add some braces to stabilize the bed sides or put the top back on.
