1969 Chevy C/30

Good afternoon Gentlemen,

Last weekend I picked up a nice 69 C-30. It's an old grain hauling truck, and has the original wood box/hoist. Planning on building a steel deck, and converting it into a firewood hauler. The seat cover as well as the foam are completely shot. I have a few 73-87 GM seats as well as a 94. Have any of you guys tried installing newer seats in a 67-72?

Take a look around. Several guys have done this. I want to do it as well, but the wife is resisting. I can buy all the stuff to reupholster the original set for many hundreds of dollars, or go to a u-pull-it and get something later model for $48. Then I'd have to make brackets and/or drill new holes in the floor.
