It used to be special........
...but now you see 50th anniversary trucks everywhere. I may have to go look at this one. I will let you know what I find out.

I saw my first one on Saturday. It was a beat up C20, with a load of cattle feed in the back, but it was a 50th!

This may sound stupid but what is a 50th anniversary truck. Are all 68's 50th or do they have something different about them. Let me know because there is a 68 for sale in a near by town. I just saw it the other day. I haven't got details on it yet though. Thanks

No every 1968 is not a 50th Anniversary truck, but every Chevrolet dealership in the USA received at minimum one of these trucks.
The 68 50th Anniv. trucks received a special paint job of 2 tone Gold & Ivory other than the paint option & all being Fleetsides nothing else seems to have been guaranteed to have been included on a 50th other than all Gold & Ivory Fleetside trucks in 1968 being 50th Anniversary trucks only. Some were SWB, others LWB, and others were long horns, some got a ton of options and others were almost base model trucks. Most didn't even have bucket seats. FOUND ONE YESTERDAY-IN SEATTLE 3/4 LONG BED AUTO ORIG SPLIT RIMS W/THREE HUB CAPS. VERY STRAIGHT-NO RUST! BROKEN WINDSHIELD. LOTS OF IVY ON IT THOUGH. ANYBODY WANT TO KNOW WHERE? I WILL GIVE AN ADDRESS.........
