Already gone, Nice truck, is the label still in the glove box? I was wondering what the color scheme is?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

I was just curious. Mine list white/maroon. Then I saw the photo of the label for the black and white truck above and it was listed as white/black/white/black. I was wondering if yours is listed as dark olive/olive. If I paint my roof white it may be original???? I had a 69 Ford F100 and 71 Chevy Caprice in that same olive color as your truck, my wife hates that color, but what does she know?

If yours says white/Maroon then the roof was white and the rest of the truck maroon.

The white/black/white /black is just as that truck looks. White roof and back of cab, black from the lower window moldings to the upper body side molding, then white down the sides between the moldings and finally white below the lower molding. This was/is avery common two tone combo on 69/72 trucks.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

Some shots of my 67 K10. Have owned it exactly 3 days. Going to do a frame off restoration on it. Its in pretty good shape overall. Needs new rocker on drivers side, new wheel well on passenger side(battery leak at some point), and new wood in the bed. Other than that its just some small bits and A LOT of elbow grease/paint! Mostly stock that I can tell. Has the factory 327 but does have the NP 4 speed rather than the factory 3 speed so somebody made that change along the way. I am going to stick with the 4 speed. I will be adding power steering to it so my wife can drive I too. Everything on it works and it runs well considering it has been sitting for 10 years. I must say sites like this make it much easier to take on these types of projects!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

69' 454ci TH400 Ford 9" Body Shaved and custom interior. I got it this way but adding stereo system, Custom Dash Cluster, Ride tech 2 and 14" wilwood brakes front and rear. Maybe do modern engine tranny or supercharge it for more power. I got it pretty nice now making it with my stamp on it and prob add my real name "Cheyenne" to it even though its not period correct to call it a Cheyenne but I can pull it off.
