First question is how much of a gap is there between the kicker panel and the door when it is closed with no rubber seal?

There are two seals down there, one at the door edge and one at the floor level that both seal the lower door. It should be only about 3/8 or less on the very bottom, I've not measured the floor seal but it should be 1/2" or less. The floor seal it thicker on a 53.
