66 flip kit and suspension

So is there any company that makes a designated flip kit for a 66 ? I've looked at articles and I've seen them for just about everything else and forums that say this one will fit but doesn't actually specific that it fits a 66 ..

Also what's the lowest spring for the front I can put on before I have to switch to disc brakes and drop spindles to get it lower ?

Most of the 66 trucks are coil spring in the back so there will not be a flip kit as there is nothing to flip. The GMC's were leaf springs on many trucks. You can put three inch springs in the front and still get it aligned. Ypu will need to trim the bumpstops.

Re: 66 flip kit and suspension

You may have to take a bunch of measurements and find something you can adapt. There is also the option to convert it to coil springs in the back. That may be a benefit if the truck has the Dana 44 in it with parts being a little hard to find. First thing you should do to the truck is split the brakes if it has not been done and get rid of the single pot master cylinder. I really improves the safety in these old trucks.
