Cab
just bought a project '71 c10. VIN says its a 71 but the accelerator arm in the Cab looks that of a 67-69. also there is a bolt on the floor board for a gas pedal. is there a way to tell the actual year? dont trust the VIN is original. thanks guys.

If it has the hand park brake, 67-68. If it has the foot operated parking brake with 2 ball studs on the floor or rod type accelerator linkage, 69-70. If it has a raised "pad" around the rearview mirror mount, 71. Cable accelerator linkage was 71-72. Hope this helps.
