Thanks

How is $60 shipped for the harness? I will include the tail light pigtails and it still has the dome light & Pigtail over to the harness

Sounds good to me. PM mailing address and I will send you a check to save you PP fees. Let the check clear before sending parts if you want.

Thanks

are you talking about this pc, or do you need a larger more complete section cut out of the Ochre panels?

Do you still have the passenger quarter. I'm looking for an inside piece. I'm trying to get rid of the inset bump just below the window where the spare would set.

I would take $175 plus shipping for the whole quarter. Let me see what kinda pain it will be to remove the bar you have outlined, without damaging the rest and I will get back to you later today on that

Hey Richard,
How are you? I'm checking to see if the moldings that held edges of the cardboard headliner are still available? Thanks

Hey John,
I do still have them if what you are talking about is the same as what I have listed here in post one the last couple pictures.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=732175

I have a man coming over on your side of the bridge sometime in the next week or so. He will be going more southern md direction but maybe we can hook up to save shipping.

thanks
Richard

I am just getting caught up at work and have some time to get this shipping deal worked out. I need to know if you need the wheel tub left attached as well as the top window posts. I can get the crate size down considerably hacking them off. Let me know, I will cost it either way, just trying to save you some change if I can

Re: 72 suburban sheetmetal

Richard - would you happen to have a cross section picture of the upper header panel that the lift gate attaches to? I'm trying to figure out how to get some wires from my lift gate through that upper panel and can't figure out how it is constructed. Everything is already painted so I have to be very careful drilling. Thanks in advance.

Re: 72 suburban sheetmetal

Rob,
Burb is already cut up and that section is gone. Here is a pic of the area leading up to it. If I recall correctly the metal sections overlap and there is no way to get a wire through the header. I think i have 2 more coming in within the next week or so and i know I will be cutting one of them up. I will check back with you to see if you still need the info at that time.

Richard - I found this old picture of my suburban with this hole in the corner on both sides, I believe it was for the cargo door slides to attach to. I have since welded it up, do you know if this went all the way through?

Re: 72 suburban sheetmetal

Rob,
I just went out to my 72 burb with tailgate/ hatch and it has a bolt in it that appears factory. I also remember taking the same bolt out of the one in this thread. I also went over to my storage garage and opened up the rear barn doors of my 68 panel and it has the same bolt. The barn door struts attach more in the middle of the header just to each side of center. I put a flashlight up in thru the hole but you can't see anything. If I recall correctly the metal blockade is just above this point and there was only a 3/4'' hole drilled that went down the rear pillar toward the tail light. I don't recall there being any access thru the header because there was a wire in the rear roof bow that went from D/S rear top corner over to the P/S rear top corner. If you look in the 3rd picture you can see the inner structure (this is pass side obviously but I remember having real difficulty getting the wire harness out of the driver side because of this same pc.) For some reason i did not take a pic of the driver side when I got it peeled apart and I didn't save the rear header b/c it was so rusty.

Thanks for posting. If possible, I would still like to see a cut out if you get one. I don't mind drilling the blockade, I just don't want to drill blindly.
