Frame vin help?
Hi, I have a 87 k10 that use to be a 87 2wd. I bought it from a guy in August and he didn't say anything about it being a 2wd. And now I want to know what year frame it is so I can get a new vin for it.

The 140xxxxx numbers are frame rail part numbers, they don't have anything to do with your vin. Why do you want to get a new vin if cab and title match? Big hassle to do that here in Pa.

title has to match the vin on the cab. I think kookifornia is the only place they go by the frame.
