Re: BONZEYE's 86 C10 LONGBED

Cool, but now I have a question...what are you gonna do for rear pictures if you go to a sport bumper or roll pan? Looks like it is coming along well and really gaining some potential. Keep at it.

Re: BONZEYE's 86 C10 LONGBED

I don't really know what you mean buy what i am going to do about rear pix..
Im planning on running that bumper as my scrapper till it ends up like a sport bumper. Cause i have another 3-4 inches of dropp still left in the bags when the bumper wastes away.. .

You should see my plan for the gas tank/air tank for the baggs..

Re: BONZEYE's 86 C10 LONGBED

I was just curious if you would be able to lay out a sport bumper if you get one on. Spill the beans on your plans for tanks.

Re: BONZEYE's 86 C10 LONGBED

I think it should, be pretty close though..

Im kinda on a budget on this build.. So to buy a fuel cell and air tank would get kind pricey.. So a buddie of mine gave me a 30 gallon air tank.. So the idea was to cut in open and weld a plate in the middle. Weld i back up.. Put a fill on the gas side, and my hozes on the air side.. I think that should work, cause the external fuel pump..

And to top it off i was planning on having a huge BUDLIGHT sticker printed to wrap around it too look like a bigg beer can in the back of the truck.. Should be interesting..

Re: BONZEYE's 86 C10 LONGBED

I havent yet, I planned on cutting out a wedge n welding it in there and boxing in the section on the sides. A band saw would be great... It was kinda a weird shape in that section. And the frame changes from like 4" to about 3-2 1/2" on the other side..
