D52 Caliper with E-brake...Need help with rear disc brakes

I just purchased brackets from Captainfab to convert to the d52 style rear disc brakes. I would like to have my rear e-brake remain operable. To do this calipers from a 1976-1978 Cadillac Eldorado is needed. Problem is I can not find any at my local pic an pulls. I need them as they have a $40 each core and even more importantly I need the ebrake levers to swap over to the new calipers.

Does anyone know of any other applications that use the D52 caliper with an integrated ebrake like the eldorado?

Suville are you saying you did this conversion using Captfabs brackets and calipers off of a 85 Seville?

FYI.....Speedway sells those calipers for $99 each. Even comes with the bracket, pads, and slider bolts.

No I fabbed my own using Cad parts from an 85 Seville, I used the drum brake backing plate and the Seville caliper plate . The Seville caliper mounting plate dont match the axel flange on a 12 bolt so I cut the centers out of the drum brake backing plate cut the center out of the Seville Caliper bracket welded the drum brake backing plate center into the Caliper bracket and used Eldorado front 5 on 5 rotors works pretty slick. I prefit everything mounted up the calipers rotors adapted fittings to apply the calipers with air tack welded everything with the brakes applied using air pressure to the calipers then when I was satisfied it was all aligned broke it all back down and finished welding the caliper mount brackets. They work perfectly on the test bench and im sure will work on the rig only issue is Im runnin 6 lug ralleys for now and havnt found a 6 lug rotor yet to interchange with the Eldo 5on 5 1-1/4" rotor

Re: D52 Caliper with E-brake...Need help with rear disc brakes

So I guess I should have read up on this a little more before I ordered all of my parts. It doesnt sound like these calipers have a very good E-rake/Parking brake set up and they are hard to find, thus expensive.

1)Would I be an idot to run my manual truck with out a ebrake/Parking Brake? If I forget about the ebrake I could get away with runnig the new willwood D52 duel piston calapers all the way around.

2) is it possiple to use a line lock as a parking brake?

They are about $60-$65 at NAPA, The cores with the E-brakes where it starts getting pricey.

Did you ever get your disk brakes installed with working E-brake?
I wanted to get captainfab's bracket also, but am having seconds thoughts now...

How about buying a set of these, they include the e-brake hardware.

Doesn't look like it. Those have vertical mounting bolts and can only fit rotors up to 1" in thickness.
